Out April 19: BOLDEN (Original Soundtrack) by Wynton Marsalis

Music is at the core of Bolden, an upcoming feature film about the life of innovative cornetist Buddy Bolden. So who better to resurrect the sound of one of jazz's founding figures than fellow New Orleanian Wynton Marsalis?

Out April 19, the soundtrack to Bolden (pre-order it here) convenes some of today’s most virtuosic jazz musicians for a Big Easy party that romps through some of early jazz's most celebrated material. The 26 songs on the album comprise a comprehensive mix of classic tunes associated with Bolden and his greatest musical descendant Louis Armstrong as well as Marsalis originals.
